About Tink Knows Bows

Hi, my name is Victoria and with the help of my husband Michael I started Tink Knows Bows. I created this business because I quit my job to be a stay at home mom when my son was born. I have always loved to make crafts. I use to make hair bows with my Mom when I was little. I started selling on eBay and then got into several stores. I thought now it might be a good time to start a website. I got the name Tink Knows Bows because of my son. Before I started selling them on eBay I told him “mommy is going to sell bows” he looked at me very funny - I don’t think he knew what a bow was, since he is the only child I have. I gave him the nickname Tink when he was about 6 months old. So I said to him “Tink do you know what a bow is?” He shook his head no. I had been trying to come up with a name. I wanted something that was cute and kind of rhymed. So when Tink and I had been talking it hit me why not name it Tink Knows Bows. So it’s really a joke behind the name. It really should have been Tink Knows Nothing about Bows. But I did not think that would help them sale. So I stuck with Tink Knows Bows. It’s so funny now he is getting ready to turn two and when he sees a bow now he will point and say bow. Anytime I'm working he has to have a piece of ribbon and he will twist it in a knot and say bow Mama. I keep telling him maybe one day he will have a sister and she can wear our creations. But for now I really really enjoy making them for other peoples children to enjoy. I love it so much when people tell me that the child they gave the bow to just loved it. It makes me feel soooooooooooooooooo good :) :) I really enjoy doing custom bows for people and letting them design there very own special bow. It is just so much fun. OUR EXCITING NEWS:

We are so very excited; Ryland finally has a sister to put his bows on. My daughter Kaylynn was born recently. We have been putting so many bows on her. Luckily she doesn't seem to mind. Hopefully she will stay that way :) :)

We also wanted to thank everyone for being such great customers to us. Now that Kaylynn has arrived, we are going to try and start making more and more bows. Hopefully once she gets a little older we will start selling at craft shows too.....
